NO! Not the USS Scrot-- er, Scranton AGAIN!!!????

wtf? Isn't this multiple years in a row? Is this favoritism or are the other boats in the squadron asleep, or what???

Like Indiana Jones said, "I hate these guys!" LOL.

I'm biased, of course, being a former Albany guy (SSN 753), but this seems odd to me.

So on the SSBN's that only one half of the crew one the Battle E... do they hang it on a hook when that crew is manning the sub?

Odd that in Subpac both crews of both SSBN's got it, but in Sublant only one side of the SSBN's crews were awarded it.

good to see the 701 is not only still active, but kicking ass as well. that was a great boat when i was the STE onboard during an upkeep at mare island.

Am I right in being impressed by the fact that the NR-1 made the grade despite having a really small ship's company and a 35+ year old ship? As an EB'er back in the '70's I worked availabilities on the NR-1 and was always impressed with the quality of her officers and men -- I guess they're still that good!
