EB Green Tape – the stuff of urban legends
I recently read piece in Wired on-line titled “Worlds Greatest Tool: Duct Tape” and it got me to thinking about the “EB Green” variety.Cross-posted a submarine urban legend over at the "Hundreds of Fathoms" blog about EB Green tape. Is it true duct tape saved a submarine from flooding?

LL, there is even a humorous movie devoted to duct tape from our friends up in Canada (women universally hate "The Red Green Show", which seems pretty odd considering that PBS promoted it)Duct Tape ForeverLOL
EB Green was standard submarine issue and is still sold on Ebay now and then. We had a crew member with an old biplane who swore by it. He could have been Red Green at 20 years of age.
