Unexpected Delay in Rescue Operation’s Final Stage

Some unexpected problems seem to have appeared Sunday morning, after British Scorpio 45 underwater vehicle was done cutting the entanglements that ensnared the vessel on the Pacific seabed. According to Captain Alexander Kosolapov, spokesman for the Russian Pacific Fleet, the Scorpio had to be lifted because of some damage it suffered during the rescue operation, and the task of cleaning the Russian mini-sub from fishing nets had been left unfinished.

More biting of nails...though the Scorpio problem isn't seen as a major hindrance, thankfully.

FNC said that the malfunctioning Scorpio is already back in the water. Not only are the rescuers doing heroic things, the techs who are maintaining and repairing the equipment appear to be completely "in the zone."

Makes me grumble a lot less over all the training I have to go to...it does appear to come in handy on occassions like this...
